When you get to 1000 Self-Love points, how will you reward yourself?
This blog is based on 2 realizations:
1. When I love & take care of myself everything in my life seems to flow.
2. When I neglect myself and put myself last, things seem sad and hard.
So I'm going to play a Self-Love game with myself this year and I hope you'll join me! Click here for how you can get started.
When you get to 1000 Self-Love points, how will you reward yourself?
I’m going to have a massage and facial done in the same visit.
A new pair of GOOD sneakers. I’m trying to exercise more this year and my feet have been complaining about my ill fitting shoes. So, I’ll treat myself to some GOOD ones!
Good choice, Cristi! I don’t mind cheap clothes, cheap accessories, but one thing I DON’T skimp on is shoes! (By the way, I highly recommend New balance.)
As for me, I’m going to go to a live concert. Haven’t been to one since my divorce five years ago. (We had season tickets.) I’ve already checked the PSO (Portland [Portland, Maine, that is; not “the other one” *g*) Symphony Orchestra) website for possibilities.
I’ve reached my first 1000 points so now it’s time to schedule a drive to the running store for new sneakers… maybe tonight after work…. hum. hum. hum.
For the 2nd 1,000 points I think I will reward myself with a massage. My shoulders have been very tight from working so much and that sounds like a little slice of heaven!
Hi I just listened to the first call today–been out of town. I decided on a massage for my 1000 points.
For my third 1,000 points I am going to add getting highlights to my next haircut appointment. I already scheduled it for next Saturday – so I’d better get cooking!! This week’s assignment is about giving up our excuses. Oh boy…… I think I’m starting with feeling good about this reward. I’m not one to spend money on my appearance – favoring to think I “can’t afford it” or “should be saving for a rainy day”. So, adding highlights to my next haircut feels like a real indulgence and I CAN afford it!
It seems I have met another 1000 points…. and I have to think of a good reward….
hum.
hum.
Got it! I will book the trip I have been talking about for more than a year and make travel plans to go to Rome, Italy and visit my friend who lives there. :) WOW…that’s a biggie!
